
This site can be used to calculate the approximate greenhouse gas produced by an Australian in 1 year. To use it click the above calculator button and than select a version.
Clicking on the items name (except for some foods) will result in a pop up displaying more info on that item.
Entering your details in the left column results in the kg's of greenhouse gases produced per year in the right most column. Do not enter anything but numbers.
By choosing an option from the menu to the right of the figure you enter, you can also select the duration for your answer (note: this feature in not available in Netscape Navigator 4.x). For example you Gas or Electricity bill may come every "3 months", or you may purchase a "weekly" public transport (pat on the back for you).
When all your answers are entered the last two figures at the bottom of the page will represent your Yearly total and how far you are from a sustainable level.
Clicking the "GRAPH TOTAL" button at the bottom of the page will draw a graph of your total greenhouse emissions against sustainable level and Australian, Indian and world averages.
